The Human Society has been the product of innumerable years of prolonged hardships, work and dedicated development. With men and women aspiring for stability and worldwide longevity of their race, humans have tried multiple combinations of ideas, faiths and beliefs to serve as the core for the numerous civilizations that exist in our beloved world. 

It was only with the understanding that our Education and Social Ability are the sources of our segregation from the varying fauna of the planet’s ecosystem that the Human World was able to realize some sense of stability. 

Over the years, Humans have aspired and worked towards further developing and growing their most cherished and venerated asset through institutionalization of this facet of their lives resulting in the establishment and growth of multiple educational organizations and institutions in the world.

Today, in the expanse of the Data-driven and Informatics-oriented society of the New Generation of human beings, I am quite literally enthralled by the idea of bringing to light another one of such revered institutions which has over time, built itself as an epitome of Guidance and Support for the Youth amidst the never-ending chaos of too much to ingest from the Info-rich societies (The Internet, Of course!).

This space which is both a sacred embodiment of the ancient idea of Learning and the newfound understanding of making this idea Fun to experience, is none other than Sri Balaji University’s School of Computer Studies and its dedicated plethora of provisions towards effectual and efficient learning.

The School of Computer Studies, as the name suggests, is an institutional component of the Balaji University dedicated towards the study and learning of today’s celebrated and widely aspired for, Computer Sciences. The institute, equipped with both undergraduate and postgraduate learning paths in this subject, is currently serving as an undeniably Enjoyable and Socially Respectable centre of studying Computer Applications in the novel IT markets while also building up their students with the necessary Life skills and abilities that contribute towards the development of their personalities as key components in the New Age societies both nationally and internationally.

The School is dedicated towards its goal and achieves its dream of building their contribution to the Youth of India with the following inclusions and provisions in their system;

A Well-Defined and Consistently Relevant Curriculum: The School incorporates a well-structured and organized academic plan incorporating relevant and significant market needs and skills in accordance with major trends in the IT industry. These include dedicated learning paths, guided practices and practical implementations of novel versions of Python, Java, C++, C, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, et cetera

2. A Much-needed Focus on Skill Development: SCS strives to instill within their students the necessity of practical skills in both their academic pursuits as well as in their ability to communicate their knowledge. This is ensured by allowing students to participate in interactive but individualistic classroom-based sessions that urge them to express their opinions on both the curriculum and what they have understood from their study of the same.

3. An Efficient Infrastructure: What brings joy to the process of the usual, boring system of rote learning? SCS has an answer to that, with the inclusion of state-of-the-art interactive panels for internet-based, visual learning that complement the future ideas growing in the young minds of the students.

Promotion of Sports and Fitness: Through an affiliation with the University’s Department of Sport, Recreation and Wellness (DSRW), the School of Computer Studies aims to promote the healthy spirit of sports and fun games amongst its students thereby giving students their much-needed fresh air of sweet release from the atmosphere of continuous learning.

2. Cultural Fest and Hackathons: Promoting participation in fests organized by the college as well as in college-based and large-scale competitions, the institute allows the complete development of the youngsters looking to express themselves in the field or art of their own choice. Expression lent through this line of belief further consolidates the identities of these students allowing them to become better placed constituents of the society.

3. Interactive sessions with Eminent Personalities from Various Sectors: Allowing the students to meet, interact and converse with eminent personas from their selected fields or industries gives them a chance to further their interest and ideas through both verification and constructive criticism received from these well-read and learned Men and Women.
