TechnoVate Challenge 2K25 – An Intra University Startup Competition 

 

The TechnoVate Challenge 2K25, an intra-university startup competition organized by the TechVentures Club – School of Computer Studies, Sri Balaji University Pune, was successfully conducted on Saturday, 29th November 2025. The event aimed to cultivate innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurial thinking among students across all schools of SBUP and witnessed enthusiastic participation from both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. 

A total of 30 teams registered, out of which 20 teams presented startup ideas across diverse domains such as AI, ML, IoT, Healthcare, FinTechEdTech, Social Innovation, Environment, and Safety Solutions. Participants showcased functional prototypes during the Startup Exhibition, followed by structured idea presentations evaluated by esteemed jury panel of Dr. Anju Khandelwal – Associate Professor, School of Actuarial Science, SBUPDr. Gurunath Wagale – Sr. Assistant Professor, School of Computer Studies, SBUP and special presence of Dr. G. Y. Shitole – Advisor, SBUP Schools.  

Winner Team is from SYBCA and their startup idea was AquaHeal – Smart IoT-based Pipe Health Monitoring System with team members: Anand Kumar Mishra – SYBCA E, Kusum Kumawat – SYBCA B, Shweta Sherikar – SYBCA B and Prince Chauhan – SYBCA B.  

First Runner-up team is from TYBCA and their startup idea was SpkBtr.AI with team members: Chetan More – TYBCA C, Zainab Master – TYBCA A, Siddhi Sattam – TYBCA C and Ashish Patel – TYBCA B.  

Second Runner-up team is from FYMCA and their startup idea was Vrudh Rakshak 24/7 with team members: Aarthika Upadhye – FYMCA A, Lavani Sardar – FYMCA B and Piyusha Arvind Giri – FYMCA B. 

The competition featured a digital inauguration, live jury feedback, and vibrant interdisciplinary collaboration. The event concluded with the declaration of winners and appreciation for the collective efforts of faculty mentors, jury members, student volunteers, and the TechVentures Club team. TechnoVate Challenge 2K25 successfully reinforced SBUP’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem and ignited a strong startup-driven mindset among students.
