The activity was conducted on Friday, 19th September 2025, targeting students of all undergraduate (UG) schools and MCA from 01:30 PM to 02:30 PM in SBUP, Building A, 4th Floor, Dr. Homi Bhabha Lab.
The competition was designed to educate, motivate, and inspire students to understand and articulate the key features of India’s National Education Policy 2020 by speaking spontaneously on given topics.
The competition was organized by the Faculty Members and NEP Students Saarthi - Mr. Karan Lakshmi Chinmani (TYBCA), Ms. Sakshi Panjwani (TYBCA) and Mr. Chinmay Jain (TYBBA) - of the School of Computer Studies and School of Commerce and Management to create awareness among students about the key features and reforms of NEP 2020. Total 28 students from all UG Schools and MCA enthusiastically participated and presented their ideas on the given topics in English, Marathi, and Hindi. Faculty members oriented the students with possible themes before the event, including flexibility in courses, multidisciplinary learning, vocational skills, and digital education. Chits with different NEP 2020 topics were prepared in advance, and each student picked a chit randomly. They were given 10 minutes of preparation time to think and prepare their points. Students then presented their views confidently within the given time frame of 2-3 minutes each. Judges evaluated performance based on Spontaneity, & Creativity, Communication Skills, Organization and Coherence, Relevance to Theme, Fluency, Clarity, and Content delivery. Ms. Siddhi Satam (BCA2302148) secured 1st prize, Mr. Siddhartha Roy (BCA2403143) secured 2nd prize, and Mr. Sandeepan Choudhary (BLA2502001) secured 3rd prize.
